Visa® Business Debit Cards
Enterprise Bank wants your banking to be convenient as possible, so we have Business VISA Debit Cards available for most checking accounts. The Business Visa Debit Card allows you to provide select employees to be able to make purchases for your business without having to issue a check or carry cash. You determine what dollar authority your employees have to control the purchases for your company.
With Enterprise Bank no fees are assessed for using your Business Visa Debit Card for any ATM withdrawal. Other financial institutions may charge an ATM usage fee, one of the many benefits of banking with Enterprise Bank is we pay those fees for you. When using your Business Visa debit card for an ATM withdrawal, you may be prompted to accept the charge for the transaction, merely answer yes and Enterprise Bank will pay it for you.
Business Visa Debit Cards
A Business VISA Debit Card allows you to use your Enterprise Bank account at any point-of-sale location that accepts VISA Instead of being a credit card, however, the money is taken directly from your Enterprise Bank account. Similar to if you had written a standard check. The benefit is that it is accepted wherever VISA is accepted and is easier for you. Also, you are able to withdraw cash from an ATM at your convenience from banks all over the world.
Lost or Stolen Cards
If your card has been lost or stolen please call our Hot Card hotline at (866)546-8273 immediately. This number is available to you 24 hours a day. During business hours you may also contact your customer service representative by calling (561)624-4400 or (800)411-5387.
Contact the bank immediately if your VISA Debit Card/ATM Card or PIN is lost or stolen. An immediate phone call is the best way to reduce any possible losses. Unless you have been grossly negligent or engaged in fraud, VISA offers a Zero Liability policy if you report the loss or theft of your card within two (2) business days. This means 100% protection for you, guaranteeing you the maximum protection against fraud, provided, however, you report the loss or theft of your card within two (2) business days of the date such a loss or theft, and provided, further, you have not been grossly negligent or engaged in fraud. If you do not notify the Bank within two (2) business days from the date of the theft or the loss of your card, your liability for ATM transactions is limited to not more than $50.00. If you do not notify the Bank within two (2) business days from the date of the theft or loss, your liability for point-of-sale or signature transactions will not exceed $500.00. If you do not notify the Bank in writing within sixty (60) days following the date of the statement is mailed to you, or in the event that you are either grossly negligent or engaged in fraud, your liability is unlimited.
Error Resolution
Please review your checking account statement carefully. If it lists any Visa debit card /ATM Card transactions you did not make, notify us immediately. If you do not notify us in writing within sixty (60) days after the statement mailing date, where the error first appeared, you may not be reimbursed for the withdrawal. The minimum amount of information in your notification includes your name, account number and a description of the transaction in question. Your transaction description would include the amount, date and a clear explanation of why you believe it is an error or why you need more information. If you tell us orally, we may require that you send us your complaint or question in writing within ten (10) business days. We will determine whether an error occurred within 10 business days (20 business days if the error involved a new account) after we hear from you and will correct the error promptly if the transaction involved a point-of-sale transaction or a foreign initiated investigation. If we need more time, however, we may take ninety (90) days to investigate your complaint or question. If we decide to do this, we will credit your account within 10 business days (20 business days if the transfer involved a new account) for the amount you think is in error so that you will have the use of money during the time it takes us to complete our investigation. If we ask you to put your complaint in writing and we do not receive it within ten (10) business days, we may not credit your account. An account is considered a new account for 30 days after the first deposit is made, if you are a new customer. We will tell you the results within 3 business days after completing our investigation. If we decide that there was no error, we will send you a written complaint. You may ask for copies of the documentation that we used in our investigation.
